Our Termite Services
Free Termite Inspections — We perform thorough inspections of your home’s interior, exterior, attic, crawlspace, and foundation. Our inspectors use professional-grade moisture meters, sounding devices, and high-powered flashlights to detect termite activity and damage. Every inspection includes a detailed report of findings.
WDO Reports for Escrow — Buying or selling a home? We provide Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) reports required for real estate transactions. Our reports are accepted by all major lenders and title companies. Escrow payment is available.
Fumigation — When drywood termite infestation is widespread, full-structure fumigation is the most effective solution. We tent your entire home and apply Vikane gas to eliminate every termite colony.

Heat Treatment — A chemical-free alternative for drywood termites. We raise the temperature of affected areas to 120-140°F, killing termites at all life stages.
Local Spot Treatment — For localized drywood termite infestations, we apply targeted treatments directly to affected areas.
Subterranean Termite Treatment — We install monitoring stations, apply soil treatments, and create chemical barriers to eliminate colonies and prevent re-infestation.
Termite Damage Repair — As a licensed general contractor, Cal Termite handles structural repairs in-house. No subcontractors.
Extended Care — Ongoing Protection
Most pest control companies treat your termites and walk away. We don’t. Cal Termite’s Extended Care program provides ongoing protection so you never have to worry about termites again.
Extended Care for Drywood Termites — Available after fumigation or heat treatment. Includes termite dropping (frass) removal, annual inspections, and a warranty for new infestations. If new termites appear, we spot treat at no additional cost.
Extended Care for Subterranean Termites — Includes annual inspection and monitoring plus a warranty for new infestations.
First year of Extended Care is FREE when you sign up for the following year. After that, Extended Care is $420 per year for each termite type.
Signs You May Have Termites
Look for these warning signs in your Southern California home: small piles of wings near windows or doors, tiny pellet-like droppings (frass) near baseboards, hollow-sounding wood when tapped, mud tubes along your foundation, bubbling or warped paint on wood surfaces, and visible damage to wood framing.
If you notice any of these signs, call (805) 765-6482 immediately for a free inspection.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a termite inspection cost?
Cal Termite offers FREE termite inspections for homeowners across our entire service area. For escrow-related WDO reports, pricing varies based on property size. Call (805) 765-6482 for a quote.
What is Extended Care and how much does it cost?
Extended Care is our ongoing termite protection program. It includes annual inspections, frass removal (for drywood), and a warranty that covers retreatment if new termites appear. The first year is free when you sign up, then $420 per year per termite type.
How long does fumigation take?
Fumigation typically takes 2-3 days. We tent your home, apply Vikane gas, and return to certify the home safe for re-entry.
Does homeowners insurance cover termite damage?
Most homeowners insurance policies do not cover termite damage. This is why our Extended Care program exists — annual monitoring catches problems before they become expensive repairs.
